My name is Rose, I am an accredited mental health counsellor and have additional training in Art Therapy, Child Centered Play Therapy, Trauma-informed yoga, and EMDR.

I specialize in providing mental health services to youth, children and women, especially those who have experienced trauma and complex challenges. I work from a respectful and integrative approach, incorporating a range of evidence-based frameworks into my practice. I utilize evidence- based somatic strategies to aid cognitive and emotional therapeutic interventions where appropriate, providing a holistic service that acknowledges the neurobiological processes involved in human mental health.

I welcome clients from all walks of life and am committed to improving the mental health outcomes of people who identify as Neurodiverse, CALD, living with a Disability and LGBTQIA + Communities. I live and work on Whadjuk Nyoongar Boodjar, and pay my deepest respect and appreciation to the traditional owners of this land.

3 Week Restorative
& Meditation Course

Learn self-regulation and relaxation techniques to last you a lifetime. If you have enjoyed previous 'Rest & Reset' yoga and meditation evenings, this 3 week sequence may be of interest. Come along to focus on aligning the emotional self, practice somatic-based regulation techniques and carve out valuable space to turn inward to notice, nurture and respond to your own needs.

I have designed this practice over years of experience in working with individuals with intergenerational and complex trauma both in private and not for profit organizations. This offering makes use of trauma-informed practice, Yin-yoga, neurobiology research and evidence, Polyvagal theory, schema therapy, mindfulness, progressive muscle relaxation, self-compassionate activities, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in a safe and supportive space.


  - 1 hour sessions over 3 weeks in South Fremantle

 - Saturday 13th July, Saturday 20th July, Saturday 27th July (2024) 

- All equipment provided

- Facilitated by a trauma-informed mental heath specialist

- Limited spaced due to small class size

- Fee $140 (3 week sequence)

Yin Yoga & Meditation

Rest & Reset is a Yin Yoga & Meditation class that has been offered in South Fremantle since 2021. We are guided through gentle mindfulness meditation. I also incorporate easy breathwork and self-soothing imagery based activities. This class is great for anyone wanting to work on stress management, anxiety, dysregulation or just relax deeply in a welcoming environment. Please note that this class size is small so booking early is advised.
